We’re driven by an ownership mindset that encourages everyone to lead and take initiative in their career.
What does it take to be a successful employee at HCSS?
How did HCSS build its award winning company culture?
In 1986, Mike Rydin founded HCSS on the basis of building and selling estimating software for the construction industry. Today, HCSS is recognized as a pioneer and leader in the heavy civil construction market, serving thousands of construction companies across the nation.
However, selling software was not Mike Rydin’s only goal. His ultimate goal was to create a company where incredibly smart and talented individuals will be empowered to put forward their best work, consider this company their own, and extend it through the generations.

To be a great company and role model like Google and MD Anderson by being leaders in technology, service, and business practices.
To be a multi-generational company that stands the test of time.
To be an irreplaceable partner to our customers.
To be the employer of choice and best place to work for people who fit, while establishing a reputation as a valuable part of the Sugar Land community.
